Every Adventure Packers ski course includes a dedicated private ski instructor in Gulmarg. No groups, no waiting, full attention on your progress.
When we say private ski instructor, we mean one instructor for one student for every session of the course, from the first morning to the last. You are not placed in a group class that happens to have a small number of people. There is no group at all — just you and your instructor on the slope.
This matters more than it might seem. A group instructor has to teach to the middle of the group. A private instructor adapts to you specifically — your pace, your hesitations, your mistakes and your strengths. When something is not working, they change the drill immediately. When you are ready to push further, you go. You do not wait.
Most ski schools in Gulmarg offer group lessons by default and charge extra for private tuition. At Adventure Packers, private instruction is included in the base price of every course, from the 3-day beginner programme to the 10-day advanced training.
The research on skill acquisition is consistent: one-on-one instruction produces better results than group instruction at the same level. Most beginners with a private instructor are linking turns by day three. In a group that typically takes five days or more.
Adult beginners often hold back in group classes because they are embarrassed to fall in front of strangers. With a private instructor there is no audience. You can fall as many times as you need to, ask the same question three times, and take longer on a drill without feeling like you are slowing everyone else down.
By day two of a private course, your instructor knows exactly which parts of your technique need work and which are already solid. That knowledge shapes every session. In a group class the instructor rarely has time to know any individual student that well.
Every course includes a private one-on-one instructor, skis, boots, poles, ski wear, safety gear, bunny-slope bar tickets and a completion certificate.
