The Ski and Snowboarding Launchpad 3-Days is Adventure Packers' entry course, built specifically for people who have never stood on skis or a snowboard before. In three focused days with a private instructor, you go from first steps in ski boots to linking turns on a slope. No fitness test, no previous experience, no minimum age beyond 3 years.
The course uses the same structured progression that Adventure Packers' national medal-winning coaches use to develop competitive skiers -- condensed into a beginner-friendly format. Most students are ready for an intermediate slope by the end of Day 3.
Snowboarding track: Stance determination (Regular or Goofy), basic posture, skating, one-foot mobility, straight gliding, introduction to speed control and stopping.
Snowboarding track: Heel-side and toe-side edge control, J-Turns, building confidence in initiating turns, guided practice on beginner slopes.
Sheikh Bilal holds 20 National and State Gold Medals and is a former Captain of the J&K State Ski Team. Faizan Lone has 10 National Gold Medals and has represented India globally as a FIS Athlete. You are not learning from a local guide — you are learning from champions.

Sheikh Aabid is CSIA (Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance) certified. Every multi-day course includes avalanche awareness and mountain safety training on Day 6 -- knowledge that most ski schools in India do not teach at all.

Yes. The course is designed specifically for people who have never skied or snowboarded before. You start from zero with a private instructor beside you every step of the way.
You will be able to walk on skis, control speed with the snow plough, stop safely, get up independently after a fall and link your first turns on a beginner slope. Most students attempt an intermediate slope on the final day.
Yes. We take children from age 3 upwards. Tell us your child's age when you enquire and we will recommend the right session length and format.
Skis or snowboard, boots, poles, ski wear, gloves, goggles and safety gear are all included. Bring warm base layers, thick ski socks, sunscreen and lip balm.
Yes. The Launchpad 3-Days runs the same programme for skiing and snowboarding, with a specialist instructor for each discipline.
